Brandon Ally
Brandon has been around competitive track and cross country for the last 35 years. He competed at all levels, including college action at the University of Tennessee. Over this time, he has been exposed to a wide range of coaching philosophies, including by Hall of Fame High School Coach, Michael Boyer.  As the primary coach for the running piece of the Nashville Youth Distance Project, Brandon melds coaching philosophies from Scott Christensen, Owen Anderson, Jack Daniels, and Peter Coe, as well as incorporating some of the latest science from the fields of human performance and exercise physiology.  Brandon is a USATF Level I Certified Track and Field and Cross Country Official.

Hollee Ally
Hollee is the Director of Nashville Youth Athletics and serves as assistant coach of the Nashville Youth Distance Project.  She was a competitive swimmer and takes her strong knowledge of nutrition, strength and conditioning, and endurance training to the competitive team.  Hollee also works with the mental side of running, helping NYDP athletes overcome pre-race anxiety and fears, and well as putting each race into perspective of the larger overall goal. Hollee is a USATF Level I Certified Track and Field and Cross Country Official.  She and Brandon have 3 children competing in a variety of youth sports.

Byron Brown
Byron has been around competitive track and cross country, as well as competitive triathlon and cycling for the last 35+ years.  Byron competed in high school track and cross country at Gallatin High School, and later competed at Middle Tennessee State University.  He spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons as the Head Cross Country Coach at Pope John Paul II High School, and has spent the last two years coaching youth track and cross country as part of the Nashville Youth Athletics - Nashville Youth Distance Project.  Additionally, Byron is a USA Cycling Level 3 Certified Coach, and has spent the last two years as the cycling coach for the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)- Ride to Cure Diabetes.
